I want to invite you into my daily routine.
There is one thing that I do every.single. day- without fail, no matter the weather, my mood, my surroundings----
I sketch for a half an hour.
Don't get me wrong - I draw for endless hours each day - but these "work" drawings/paintings are intentional and usually serve a purpose and/or an end goal.

My sketching is just for me - to improve, to limber up, to stretch my muscles and to explore things I am not used to. To learn, grow and explore as an artist. They are not perfect, they are not pretty - they are my space to learn - and learning isn't always linear or perfect!

That’s exactly what I want for you, too, so the BeeHive Chronicles brings you daily inspiration to get you sketching, plus a place to share what you make and stay connected with fellow artists. Whether you’ve taken a class with me before or you’re in one right now, this is your place to keep drawing and keep learning long after class ends.

The BeeHive Chronicles brings you a little spark of drawing inspiration every day, so you never have to stare at an empty sketchbook wondering what to draw!

A daily dose of inspiration. Every day there’s something new to get you sketching, so just pick up your pencil and go!

Draw your way. Any medium, any style, any skill level is welcome (a ballpoint pen on the back of an envelope counts!).
