I journeyed for many years without creativity as a young mom and mother of 4 --close together ---children. I eventually fell in love with painting again through watercolors and gouache.

Now I use a digital app (available only on iPad and iPhone) called Procreate ---because it is so versatile, houses every type of medium you can imagine, and I can take it with me anywhere!

The Storyteller of Self-Rediscovery
Dear Fellow Dreamers,
Are you a dedicated soul who has given everything to care for others, perhaps at the cost of neglecting your own dreams and self-care?
My journey may resonate with your own experiences. I am a wife and a mother of four, who dedicated myself to homeschooling my children and serving in the community through church and ministry. I also took on the role of caring for my aging parents, always putting everyone's needs above my own.
As a child, I delighted in crayons and colors, breathing life into my creations as I told their story visually. I set my artistic dreams aside during my college years, convinced that a career as an artist was beyond my reach. The characters, their stories and the worlds I had created were all put high on a shelf "for another day".
But here's the remarkable part of my story - it took 20 years for me to pick up those "crayons" again and rediscover the vibrant joy of creativity. In listening to my own desires, I unearthed a profound happiness in crafting illustrations. Today, I am a celebrated children's book illustrator, my work graces galleries and exhibitions worldwide and I collaborate with an agent to bring my creations to life through licensing.
I can recall the pivotal moment when I drew a line in the sand, deciding it was time to start crafting my own narrative, my own story.
