Max Ehrmann wrote the poem "Desiderata" in the early 1920's. Desiderata means things that are desired or wanted. The implication is that these are desired qualities of the soul and of the heart. The forty-six line poem is a long commentary on how one should consider their day to day life. This includes how to keep what’s important in front of mind, balance one’s career, inner peace, and aspirations. While also striving to be a good person in a world that doesn’t always treat you fairly. ‘Desiderata’ by Max Ehrmann is a simple, yet powerful prose poem that lays out the tenants for living a happy life and keeping peace in one’s soul.

This would make a fabulous graduation gift, bridal shower gift or a special something as your loved one begins a new career. After all - don't we all need to be reminded to "Go placidly..."

  • What is the difference between giclée and standard print?

Simply put, a giclee is a fine art print created by using a specialized high resolution inkjet printer. Yes, a giclee is in fact an “art print” but giclee prints stand apart with their extremely high level of quality, longevity and value compared to a standard print.
